Dumisani Mbebe optimistic about the future

Things seem to be going well for veteran actor Dumisani Mbebe.

The actor, who found himself making headlines for all the wrong reasons last year, seems to be back on track.

We're sure you guys remember that Dumisani was allegedly fired from Generations after not pitching for shoots repeatedly and then there was the baby-mama drama, which reportedly led to his wife moving out of their home.

Sunday World sat down with the actor to chat about his new role on Rhythm City and his career as a director.

Dumisani wouldn't be drawn into talking about the details of his personal life, but it seems like he's worked things out with his wife.

"Look let's not go there, except that I have been married for the past three years and have a supportive wife who makes sure I eat good, nutritious food to stay healthy and I work out at home," he told the paper.

As for his career, Dumisani is loving his new role of e.tv's hit soapie and wants to make more local films.

Good going Dumisani!
