Durban to host MTV Africa Music Awards

The MTV Africa Music Awards are back, and this time in South Africa! The ceremony will take place at the Durban International Convention Centre on 7 June 2014. The awards were started in 2008, with the inaugural ceremony held in Abuja, Nigeria. The aim was to celebrate contemporary African and international genres. In 2009, the ceremony was moved to Nairobi, Kenya. It was held again in Nigeria in 2010 with Eve, Rick Ross and T-Pain making appearances. Four years later, it’s back, and no doubt with a bang!

Here's hoping tons of celebs head our way!
