Enhle Mbali: 'Motherhood is an honour'

Johannesburg- DJ Black Coffee and his wife Enhle Mbali welcomed their second child into the world last week. (Read that story here)

But if you, like us, were hoping to catch a glimpse of the new addition to the Black Coffee household, that's not going to happen anytime soon.

In an interview with Mamas and Papas magazine, a few weeks before Enhle gave birth, she opened up about how she's an overprotective mommy and will spending some time in "confinement" with her new-born.

"I'm overprotective, if there is such a thing," she told the mag.

Enhle also revealed that her second pregnancy was definitely planned and came at the perfect time.

She added that it gave her the opportunity to slow down with her on-screen work and focus on her business. Even though Enhle is a wife, actress, and entrepreneur, the role that wins hands-down for her is being a mom.

The Rockville star told the mag that even though she believes in the sentiment that it takes an entire village to raise a child, she's finding her own feet through trial and error.

"I'm trying to find my own footing. Finding out what works and what doesn't by trial and error. I want to create my own story with my children. I want them to understand that they are blood and install in them the need to be close, protective of each other and communicate with each other effectively," she added.
