Eric Macheru opens up about his failed soccer career

Johanneburg- Former soccer star, Eric Macheru's dream was shattered by an injury that stopped him from playing soccer... forever. 

So, from being a young soccer player with so much potential, Eric found himself thinking of a plan b. 

And, it came in the form of acting. 

Eric, who made his debut on Skeem Saam, where he plays the character of Leeto Maputla, opened up to Move! magazine about having to start all over again. 

Eric explained that acting was never in the plan, but he has grown to love every minute of it. The hunky star has also become somewhat of a sex symbol for the female Skeem Saam fans. 

"I'm humbled the people see me this way, but being sexy is not a talent, so I can't get too excited," he explained.
