Eugene Khoza's wife 'shocked' by Boity engagement

Uhm... This is awkward!

Eugene Khoza's wife has apparently spoken out about his alleged engagement to Boity. According to Sowetan, Eugene's live-in partner of nine years, Lerato Gaanakgomo, revealed that the comedian stormed out of the house when asked about the rumours. "I am just as confused as everybody else because I saw it yesterday [Sunday] afternoon. I do not know anything. He had nothing to say about it - because it's a lie, I would say."

She told the paper that Eugene was at home when she found the paper [Sunday Sun]. "He did not want to explain and just left. He did not sleep at home last night." She said their situation is confusing. "... because last year... he left for a couple of months after a long fight. He came back in December and if he is engaged, I do not know when that happened because he has been living with me "

She added that the whole thing is shocking but she can handle it. She told the paper that Eugene paid lobolo after they had a baby.

Boity denied that she's engaged to Eugene and said she's single. She said she and Eugene are good friends. But one of Boity's friends told Sowetan that the engagement is real. "It's true. They are just throwing people away from the scent. She started wearing his ring in December but it was too sudden in my eyes and no one can really say anything when people have feelings for each other."
