What's the big deal?

Toya pretty much dominated the local charts with the release of her debut album, Due Drop in 2012. The album saw her walk away with three SAMA's and a BET Nomination for Best International Act (Africa) in 2013 and her music has been everywhere ever since.

She's been hard at work on new material and finally, after months in studio, she's ready to drop her highly anticipated album. An album which is said to feature the likes of  Craig Massiv,  Ross Jack,  US based Fresco Kane & Jazziel Sommers and Cassper Nyovest.

“I share my second offering intertwined with big bass drops and a fusion of sounds I call J.E.H.P - JAZZ. ELECTRO.HIP.POP," Toya says of the second album. "It will help you remember how to keep it Phresh to Death out there... If you are ready. Ascension: It’s is about rising as a person, as a nation, as humanity, through knowing, growing the inner wealth, and becoming, ”she adds.
