Johannesburg – The murder trial of Skwatta Kamp rapper, Flabba Habedi, has been postponed to the 7th of September.
The trail was set to start on Monday morning in the Randburg Magistrate's court, but was only heard for a few minutes before the judge postponed proceedings to allow the defence to properly prepare its case.
Murder accused, Sindiwe Manqele, appeared for the first time since she was released on R10 000 bail in March. (Read more about that here.)
The atmosphere in court was tense as Sindi entered the court room with her legal team. She remained silent throughout the short proceedings with a scarf over her head. But such protection didn’t matter, as the court barred media from taking any audio or pictures from inside the court.
The matter is set to resume in the Randburg Magistrate's court on the 7th of September at 10 am, with Sindi's bail being extended till then.
