Flabba's girlfriend: "I didn't mean to kill him"

The brother of Flabba, Tshepang, has told City Press that the woman accused of murdering Flabba was crying as he tried to revive him.

"I love him. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to kill him," she apparently said as he entered the room where his brother lay dying.

Tshepang describes Sinisiwe Manqele as a 'bubbly, humble and beautiful soul who loved Flabba.' Although he wasn't aware of any problems between the two, Flabba's best friend, Nkululeko Chauke admits that the pair did have a fight earlier in the night while they were attending a party. "It was just an argument between two people and I didn't know it was escalate into this," he told the newspaper.

However, on the day that Flabba was killed, sources told us that he and Sindi had called it quits just the week before and during the week had decided to try and patch things up. (More on that story here)

BUT WHAT ABOUT THOSE INJURIES?

In her bail appearance this week, Sindi showed various injuries to the judge. Sunday World is reporting that two police officers, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirm that the injuries were not as a result of self defence.

The officers apparently claim that while questioning Sindi, she kept repeating that it was a mistake. But when they asked why she suddenly had a knife in her hand and stabbed him, she couldn't answer and grabbed a beer bottle and cut herself.

Meanwhile, Sindi's version of events has yet to be heard. Her statement has not been included in police records as yet.
