What's going on with our soccer players?

Lately there's been a string of reports which has lifted the lid on ex-soccer players facing financial troubles. The latest soccer star to be added to this list is Thembinkosi "Terror" Fanteni, who was once the national team's star player.

Sunday World is reporting that Terror is without a soccer club and a source of income. He even pleaded with the newspaper to help him find a club as he was "struggling to make ends meet."

"I have had nothing so far and I need to take care of my responsibilities as a man. At the moment, my wife is taking care of things but I don't want to relax," he told the newspaper.

Terror also admitted that he had to sell his car and his children are no longer living with him. Sources close the couple have also told the newspaper that things are not rosy between them.

Apparently Terror's wife has given him an ultimatum and has threatened to leave.

Although the odds are against him, Terror is determined to come out of this a stronger person. He's willing to join any club that's interested in him.
