Former Generations actor heads to London

Johannesburg - Former Generations actor, Batsile Ramasodi, has secured himself a new role... all the way in London!

Batsile, who played the role of Mr Sokholu in Generations The Legacy, has been cast as the main star in the international theatre production, The Dirt Road

The Dirt Road made its debut in France way back in 2013, and is set to take over the London theatre scene when it features at the SA-UK Seasons 2015 next month.

"I am truly honoured to be part of something so extraordinary. I hope to open doors for many South African artists. Our industry needs the recognition it deserves and these are the moments that make the efforts all worth it," Batsile says.

Batsile starred in the Hollywood film, End Game in 2009 but, judging by his latest gig, it won't be long before Hollywood sees Batsile again.
