Friend: "Prosper was on his way to hospital when he died"

A friend of Prosper's, Jacob Mnisi, has told Daily Sun how the music promoter was on his way to hospital when he died.

“Prosper complained about high fever and he was taken to the clinic. He died on his way to the clinic,” said Jacob.

Jacob says he was with Prosper yesterday and he was in good spirits.“I am sad that my friend has passed on after spending some quality time with him."

The Juice made contact with Tina Mkwaiwa, but an unidentified male answered the phone. He told us that he could not confirm Prosper's death and that more details would be available in the morning. "All will be revealed tomorrow," he said.

Tina previously confirmed to The Juice that the couple had split last year. But she insisted that they were still on good terms and she often went to the house to look after him, as he was still recovering from a car accident last year.

Prosper has two children with Tina Jaxa. There was some confusion about the state of their relationship, after it emerged that they were still legally married.

Meanwhile, Sonia-Ngwana Mosotho, who was a friend of Prosper's has said on social media that she has spoken to Prosper's son and he confirmed the news. A heartbroken Sonia says Prosper died three hours ago and that she was shocked by his death, after having spoken to him just this week.
