Gail Mabalane to make her Generations debut tonight!

Johannesburg - Gail Mabalane will make her much anticipated return to our TV screens tonight when the actress finally makes her debut on Generations: The Legacy.

Earlier this month The Juice revealed that Gail would be joining Mfundi Vundla's hit soapie, (more on that HERE ) and now we have confirmation that she will make her debut on the show tonight.

Gail will play the role of Sarah Westbrook, a feisty, ambitious and hard working woman who Gail says everyone can relate to.

It will be Gail's first TV role in two years, but she says she feels now is the right time for her to return.

"I got a call about the opportunity and the timing was perfect. I read the script and found the character interesting. So I went in to audition, and the Generations team was very welcoming, so to me it just felt right. It was also perfect for me because it wasn't too demanding at first, with my daughter only 2-months-old when I started shooting."

And although she has yet to shoot a scene with her idol, Connie Ferguson, she says she can't wait to work with Connie again.

"Connie is like a big sister to me, so we never stopped communicating or seeing each other since our last project. Although we have not yet shot scenes together for Generations, I totally love working with her, we have lots of fun," Gail says.

Will Gail's introduction be enough to return Generations to the title of the most watched soapie in Mzansi? Let's watch tonight and find out...
