Generations' actress to get the boot- and she doesn't even know it

Joburg -Generation's actress Asanda Foji could soon be chopped from the show... and she isn't even aware of it.

Sowetan has apparently learnt that the show's producers are not happy with Asanda's acting and are considering terminating her contract.

But when the paper contacted Asanda, who plays the role of Simphiwe on the soapie, she was shocked to hear the news.

"I don't know anything like that," she told the paper.

"Right now I am very shocked," she added.

The shows producer, Mfundi Vundla, would neither confirm or deny Asanda's departure calling it rumours that he would not entertain.

Flip! If the rumours are true, maybe Asanda can get a job on that other station... you know, the one that regeneration-ed?
