Generations actors reportedly unhappy

Johannesburg - It seems like trouble keeps knocking on Generations' door.

It's been almost six months since Mfundi Vundla launched the rebooted version and the soapie's ratings have failed to take off.

Now there is talk that two lead actors have allegedly threatened to quit the show because their characters have been highly criticised by viewers.

This is according to sources who spoke to Sunday World. The actors in question are Asanda Foji (Simphiwe) and Ivy Nkutha (Gog'Flo).

However, Ivy rubbished the claims. "I don't know anything about what you are telling me. Go back to the people who started this rumour and ask them what their motives are," she told the paper.

Creator Mfundi Vundla also denied that anyone was quitting the soapie."These are malicious rumours. To say someone has been treated badly are lies of a high order. It's not factual," he told the paper.
