George Lebese assault case postponed

Johannesburg - The assault case against Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, George Lebese, was once again postponed on Thursday morning.

George appeared briefly in the Pretoria magistrate's court on charges of assault, and malicious damage to property, after he apparently assaulted his girlfriend in February.

The case has been postponed until the 13th of May to allow for further investigation, and for the state to work on two outstanding documents needed for the court to proceed.
