George Lebese's 'fake girlfriend' hits back

A few weeks ago it emerged that Kaizer Chiefs soccer player, George Lebese, was allegedly in a relationship with a 'cyber girlfriend.'

Now the girl who was implicated in the saga has hit back, saying she "believed that she was dating the real George." Vivian Shikwambana told Sunday World that she was tricked into believing that she was dating the soccer star.

"It was early this year when I searched for George Lebese on Facebook. I bumped into many accounts that used his name and sent messages to all of them. This one [fake account] replied and I told him how I love him as a fan," she explained.

She added that they started 'dating' after he expressed his feelings for her. "I asked him to tag me on his posts so that people can see I'm not crazy," she added.

Vivian told the newspaper that everything now made more sense, as he would always make excuse when she asked to meet him.

Kaizer Chiefs have distanced themselves from the matter and doesn't want George to entertain it any further.

Erm, how exactly can you be dating someone that you've never met?
