Gospel star Sipho Makhabane is a living miracle!

Fans feared the worst when news broke recently that gospel star Sipho Makhabane had been in a horrific, life threatening car accident over the festive season. But his family say all is better with Sipho as he wakes from his coma.

Sipho, who's known to be a bit of a speed freak, was on his way to a concert last month when he was involved in an accident that put him in a coma and had fans mourning his (premature) death on social media.

But his family told Move last week that they are relieved Sipho is getting better.

"He is is aware of the movements around him, and despite the fact that he can't talk, he is able to stroke relatives who visit him," the family told the magazine.

"He is a fighter and as a family, we are glad that God has given him a second chance in life," says the family.

We're glad he is on the road to recovery!
