Have you been missing the Muffinz? We've got great news!

We've been missing local soul group The Muffinz and they seem to have just dropped off the face of the earth!

Well, Muffinz fans fear not! The group have an awesome surprise for you - a sophomore album due for release this September!

The band made the informal and unofficial announcement on their Twitter page this weekend, responding to a fan who asked them for some new music.

 " @AyaTheAngel Moneoa. Nandi. The Muffinz. Can they release a second album already please." wrote the fan on Twitter, the band responded with: "September! We got u!"

We know that the band have been touring quite a bit lately, playing shows around the country, and that they were in studio last month. But we are getting really excited now that we know the band are going be giving us some new music soon.
