Hlomla Dandala: "I love my kids"

Hlomla Dandala adores his children. The actor, who has five children, was recently interviewed on CliffCentral where he spoke about his career and his family. His youngest child is 18 months old while his oldest child is 11 years old.

Hlomla, who's famously known for his role as Derek Nyathi on Isidingo, among others, told the station, "I love my kids. I cannot imagine not having a big family." He added that it's weird because he grew up in a four-person family.

The actor admitted that looking after his young ones can be tiring at times, but he always makes time for them. "What's nice about is that you try and to do quality time. I try to do an hour at least per child, where each child gets proper quality time..." On whether he is a strict father or not, Hlomla said, "I do the tough love thing," laughing and adding that he's ridiculously affectionate.

Hlomla also has a blog called Raising Mine, where talks about raising his children.
