It's official! Metro FM fire "sick" Sammy Sosa

Johannesburg - After months of speculation, Metro FM have confirmed what we guessed all along: that Sammy Sosa has been dumped by the station.

Two months ago, Sammy Sosa started working on Vuzu's The Hustle. Around the same time, she started becoming really sick, and could not make her radio show she co-presented with Mo Flava.

The Juice reached out to the bosses at Metro FM a few days, after we noticed Sammy was no longer on radio. They told us that she was sick and would be returning soon (more on that here).

But it seems there has been a change of heart at the SABC, and the station has now decided to let Sammy go.

"We can confirm that the SABC has terminated the services of Ms. Lehoko due to material breach of her employment contract between herself and the SABC," SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago told Sunday World. 

It seems like, for the meantime, Mo will have to steer the ship alone.
