It's war! Euphonik takes on Arthur

Ish just got real!

DJ Euphonik came out guns blazing, when he accused kwaito veteran Arthur Mafokate of selling 'fake stories' to the media.

Euphonik appeared on  3 Talk with Noeleen Maholwana-Sangqu yesterday where he addressed allegations that he had an affair with Arthur's girlfriend and singer Chomee.

Last year shocking reports revealed that Arthur and Chomee had split after, the kwaito legend found text messages from Euphonik to her, it was also reported that Chomee had sent Euphonik nude snaps of herself.

Euphonik did not mince his words during the candid interview, which sent social media into a frenzy.

"At a birthday party that I had, Chomee was invited by my staff to perform. I sent her a text message the next morning, saying, 'Thanks for last night, it was awesome', and she said, 'Thank you, it was great', and he (Arthur)  took that SMS out of context - a year later," Euphonik explained.

Euphonik added that it was common knowledge that Arthur pay's journalists for stories. "It’s unfortunate that in the entertainment circles, we come across guys like Arthur.  And, that's the truth about him," added Euphonik.

The popular house DJ rubbished claims that there was any 'beef' between him and Arthur.  "Cabanga ngiz’ beefa nomuntu omdala (what beef would I have with an elder)," he added.

Euphonik also believes that respect is earned and isn't just owed to a person who has been in the industry longer than another person. He also denied that Chomee ever sent him nude snaps of herself.

And the battle fields are open. Your turn, Arthur
