Itu Khune may not be fit to play this year

Fans might not see Kaizer Chiefs player Itumeleng Khune on the field anytime soon.

The team's coach, Stuart Baxter, is reportedly unsure whether Itu and striker Katlego will be fit to play before the year ends. Kickoff.com is reporting that the coach believes that both players might not be seen in action for a while.

He said, "They are both quite far away. They have both started their rehab and jogging and may be available towards the end of the year, but I’m not sure if they will be match fit."

Itu suffered an ankle injury and has been off the field for quite some time. The player has shared his road to recovery with his fans, even mentioning that he's working hard to get his fitness back.
