Itu's beauty secret disaster

Despite what your mother told you, sometimes Vaseline doesn't cure everything.

Itumeleng Khune was just doing his job, endorsing skin care products this last week, when it all turned into one big disaster and he's had to call for respect.

It all started when Itu posted a picture of himself next to a men's skincare product.

No sooner had it been posted than the vultures started circling. First they pointed out that poor Itu had written "#Vaseline4men brings out the real MEN in me "(emphasis added).

When that had been corrected,  they turned to his picture and started criticising Itu for looking 50 when he says he's 27 - something about soccer players lying about their ages. 

It all got so out of hand that Itu had to post  a follow up message asking for "respect" from his fans.

Eish, is this something Itu will be able to wipe away quite easily?
