J Cole's album leaked this week, ahead of it's official launch this coming Tuesday and it features a track aimed at some of hip hop's biggest name.
J announced the album two weeks ago, with the plan to release it in it's entirety on the 9th of December. But enthusiastic fans got hold of the album before the release and leaked it, leading to several services now offering a stream of the album.
One of the highlights of the album is the track, Fire Squad, which takes aim at the likes of Justin Timberlake, Eminem and Macklemore. "History repeats itself and that’s just how it goes / Same way that these rappers always bite each other’s flows/ Same thing that my nigga Elvis did with rock ‘n’ roll / Justin Timberlake, Eminem and then Macklemore," he raps.
A couple of minutes later on in the track, J raps about how he's above the petty arguments and love for Iggy Azalea in hip hop "While silly nigga argue over who gon’ snatch the crown / Look around my nigga, White people have snatched the sound / This year I’ll be probably go to the awards dappered down / Watch Iggy win a Grammy as I try to crack a smile."
