The acclaimed radio personality will be leaving her afternoon show after 22 years.
Primedia Broadcasting made the sad announcement this afternoon. Jenny will officially be off the airwaves in the afternoon from the new year. But don't panic! She'll still be hosting her book show and will be working on special projects
"I will miss the thrill of live radio, and the people who have listened so loyally for many years but I look forward to the freedom of not being tied to a specific time and location each day," said Jenny.
94.7's Breakfast Xpress co-host Sam Cowen will be taking over the helm from Jenny in the new year.
"This is an exciting opportunity and one that I welcome," said Sam. "I will miss 94.7 but have always been a big fan of Jenny’s and of the show and I look forward to joining the conversation on 702," she added.
