Judgement expected in November for Arno Carstens case

Arno Cartsens' drunken driving case resumed in the Cape Town Magistrates court today. Closing arguments were heard  and judgement is expected on 4 November.

It seems the musician, who was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in 2010, wants to put the case behind him. Responding to a TimesLIVE tweet announcing that the case is resuming, the X Factor SA judge wrote: "Looking forward to finding closure after 4 years."

Arno, who was reportedly driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.20 percent, has pleaded not guilty to the charge. The legal limit is 0.5 percent.
