Kaizer Chiefs' George Maluleka in girlfriend drama

Why do soccer players always find themselves in drama? The latest star to experience some drama of his own is Kaizer Chiefs player George Maluleka. According to Sunday Sun, George and his girlfriend Larelle Wagner are having some trouble.

The paper is reporting that after last Saturday's Kaizer Chiefs' Soweto Derby win, all the players went out to celebrate at the Pop Bottles event. George was apparently there with his girlfriend, but it was not long before Larelle was spotted trying to beat him up in front of other people.

The newspaper claims Larelle had apparently wondered why George kept ducking out and leaving her in the company of his friend. "Finally, she became suspicious and decided to investigate. Allegedly Larelle caught her playmaker red-handed behind the scenes – misbehaving with a hot babe," the paper reported.

A source close to George told the paper that the player has recently become very pompous. "Now that he's broken into the team and plays on a regular basis he has become very arrogant," the source said.

He added: "Those boys are all leading each other down the drain."  Chasing girls and spending money on girls is their main priority. He was very serious and committed to his baby mama – until he got caught up in that toxic crew,” the friend claimed."

Larelle told Sunday Sun: "Yes, we were at Pop Bottles. But there was no drama! I’m sorry – I can’t comment further." George refused to comment.
