Kalawa Jazmee silent on artist's arrest

Johannesburg - Confusion ruled at popular record label Kalawa Jazmee after an artist, reportedly from the label, was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning for drunk driving.

Many of the people The Juice spoke to at Kalawa, including label founder Oskido, were surprised to hear about the story and said that they were unaware of the incident.

The artist allegedly told officers that he was on his way home from a gig in Venda, Limpopo, but the record label's booking agent told The Juice that most of their major artists, including Uhuru, Heavy K, Dr Malinga and Professor had only performed at a festival in Limpopo on Saturday.
