Kelly Khumalo: "Senzo & Mandisa were not legally married"

It's been claimed that soccer star Senzo Meyiwa wasn't legally married to Mandisa Mkhize.

This emerged just days after the Bafana Bafana captain and Orlando Pirates goalie was laid to rest. Senzo's girlfriend Kelly Khumalo revealed this information to Sunday Times, during a heartfelt interview about her relationship with the player.

The singer told the paper that she believed that they weren't legally married because Senzo told her that he had only paid lobola for Mandisa. "He told me he paid lobola for her and whatever was required and got engaged to her. And soon after that he was unhappy and I don't know what the problems were because Senzo was not a person who liked to badmouth others, whether he liked that person or not," she said.

Apparently Senzo told Kelly that he and Mandisa had unresolved issues, that's why he decided to move out of their home and in with the her.

Kelly believes that Senzo didn't defy his family for her but because he chose to be with her.
