A Khuli Robert's rant was the last thing we expected to wake up to on Tuesday morning, but thanks to some inconsiderate person selling pieces of the Robben Island fence, that's exactly what we got.
The actress, who admitted to fans that she enjoys spreading joy and gossip in equal measure, took to Twitter on Tuesday to voice her frustration at people "getting rid of South African artifacts", like Robben Island's fences obviously!
"Can u people stop getting rid of South African artifacts! Damn! Dude making money from discarded Rob Island Fence! Only in S.A. EDUCATION!" she started ranting, adding, "He had the sense to distribute it! The Fence. I'm going out of my way to retain our images and artifacts! Folk are throwing em in the skip! Who does that? Equivalent 2 Berlin Wall, it is. We might as build a theme park on Table Mountain" .
But the Berlin wall comparison didn't end there. Only a few minutes later Khuli returned to justify her involvement in the cause of saving fences through her owning some of the Berlin wall and her education. "I have a piece of the Berlin Wall! I bought it in Berlin and keep it forever! Damn! she wrote, before concluding, "I'm a History Major, UCT, so u can imagine my pain because I studied Anthropology, Sociology, Archeology and Political Analysis! Heartbroken!"
