L-Tido's Pulane music video too steamy for TV

Johannesburg - It's a rapper's dream to have their music video feature on local TV, but poor L-Tido will not be seeing his latest music video on the small screen anytime soon.

According to City Press, the music video for L-Tido's latest single, Dlala Ka Yona, has been deemed "to steamy" for TV audiences and broadcasters are demanding he cool it down before they air it.

The video features three women, including the infamous Pulane (read more about her claim to fame here), dressed only in g-strings and bras, twerking and grinding.

"They (Channel O) told me the video was too raunchy. I don't understand, because the channel plays unclean American videos all the time," L-Tido told the paper.

The rapper admits it may be a bit too much, but says that artists are meant to "push the boundaries as far as art is concerned in this country."

L-Tido added that he expected the negative reaction to the video. But is happy that at least his mom seems to approve of it.

Maybe it's just because she hasn't seen it on her TV yet?
