Johannesburg - What is beauty? What is really desirable?
It's an age old debate and one Lerato Kganyago got dragged into this week, when she posted a picture on her Instagram that almost started a beauty war between her followers.
Lerato took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a popular quote from American rapper Nas on the true definition of beauty.
The post caused quite a fuss with fans expressing their opinions about the post. Soon a debate had started that threatened to get out of hand and start a virtual catfight between fans.
Lerato decided enough was enough and stepped in.
She left her quarreling fans a message on the post:
"A simple post and woman are already fighting with each other on my page? It's a simple post that says "Looks aren't everything"...Problem? Selective reading is a problem. Arg we stay losing. Some of you ladies are just so angry, always ready to box each other!" she wrote.
She later deleted the post.
If only we could solve political arguments like this? Lerato would be president of the whole world!
