Letoya Makhene opens up about her sister's drug addiction

Joburg- Death can be hard on anyone but actress Letoya Makhene says her mom's death almost ripped her whole family apart.

“My mom’s death messed us up, and we started going our separate ways," Letoya Makhene told True Love recently.

"My elder sister Pauline focused on business, Gontse (her younger sister) tried to find herself but ended up doing drugs. That’s the hardest thing – to see your baby sister go through that,” she says.

“You feel like you can’t sleep at night not knowing where she is and when you finally see her, she’s not okay and not doing well,” she reflects.
