Local lads, Civil Twilight, back in studio

They may have been born and raised in Cape Town but everything Civil Twilight do is international. The four-piece rock band left our shores a while ago to seek fame and fortune in the US. They've become quite the hit makers since and now they are hard at work recording another album.

Recording for the follow up to 2012's Holy Weather, started late last week and the band have been kind enough to share some pics of their studio time.

The behind the scenes snaps show the band hard at work writing lyrics, practicing chords and even eating chips! Judging by the amount of times African vibes and township vibes are mentioned in the captions, we're hedging our bets on a release more like their self-titled hit debut which showcased a lot of African flavour to their fans.

Hands up if you're as excited as we are for this release.
