MTV hottest MCS list is back

Johannesburg - Get your beef and your diss tracks ready, the MTV hottest MCs list is making a return! 

Last years list caused quite a stir among hip hop fans and even spawned response freestyles from the likes of reason and Cassper Nyovest (listen to those here).

Once the dust settled, Cassper eventually had to apologise to last year's winner K.O for some comments he made about the rapper and the list (read about that here), but it seems the list will always remain as a flash point in SA hip hop's history. 

And just because we all love a little controversy, MTV have announced that the list will make a return this year, airing on the 26th and 27th of December on MTV Base.

It's great news for SA hip hop fans who will, like us, no doubt be debating who deserves the top spot this year. But in the meantime here's a cipher between four names who will all be hoping to make the list:
