Manaka Ranaka addresses all that Generations hate!

Manaka Ranaka has received a lot of criticism for joining Generations: The Legacy. Some people believe that she betrayed the fired actors. But all that negativity doesn't bother the actress.

She told Move: "If I were to take all the negative things people have been saying about me to heart, then I would have had a nervous breakdown. But I am a tough cookie who doesn't easily stress about what people say about me."

Manaka, who's been in the industry for years, believes that she did nothing wrong by accepting a role on the soapie. She told the mag: "They don't know how much is my daughter's school fees and how much my bills are. People need to understand that life goes on. Was I expected to sit down at home and suffer while a job opportunity presented itself?"

She said people who have been criticising the new Generations are going to be in for a big shock. "I feel honored to be part of this great team."
