Manaka Ranaka undeterred by 'haters'

Actress Manaka Ranaka believes that people need to get over what happened to the old Generations cast.

Drum magazine sat down with the soap star to chat about her new role as Lucy on Generations: The Legacy, being a single mom and about the criticism the new cast got from fans.

Manaka explained that she doesn't take negative comments personally and that life has to continue despite what happened.

She added that they've been called names like traitors and job snatchers, but that hasn't bothered her.

"The world doesn't stop when somebody dies, and, trust me the world doesn't stop when somebody loses a job," she said.

Manaka also revealed that even people calling her 'ugly' on social media is a non-issue to her because she was raised with confidence.

Talk about being resilient!
