Mandoza to be released from hospital after sinus procedure

Johannesburg - Mandoza has spent the last week at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in Johannesburg after undergoing an apparent sinus procedure.

According to Sowetan, the musician was admitted after having an issue with his eye, which was later confirmed to be related to an ongoing sinus problem.

"I had a problem with my sinuses, but it is nothing to worry about. I am better now and will be going home. The doctors cleaned my sinuses and my eye," he told the paper.

It's believed that he wore a cap to cover his face so that people at the hospital did not recognise him. Despite his attempts, when fellow well-known friends came to visit, including Brickz, the cat was out of the bag.

Mandoza is apparently upbeat about the procedure, saying everything is on track for him to celebrate Mandela Day tomorrow.

A week for a sinus procedure? That's an awfully long time. We're glad you're better, though!
