Johannesburg - Music legend Mara Louw has got her groove back! This after the former Idols judge recently went under the knife to get a hip replacement.
Talking to Sunday World, Mara revealed that she has been struggling with her hip for the last eight years and started experiencing intense pain in her left leg for the past three years.
She says that the pain had become so severe that she stopped attending events and some engagements because she could no longer stand on her leg for long periods of time. Her condition convinced her to seek painful hip replacement surgery.
"The pain is unimaginable, but worth it. I'm glad that it's over now," Mara told the paper after her operation.
Mara is now recovering and will soon be able to return to the dance floor. So, now we can take ma' Mara dancing again!
