Mark Fish got hitched! In a club!

Taboo night club in Sandton is usually reserved for a big night out clubbing with friends.

But former soccer player, Mark Fish and his fiancé, Salome Janse van Rensburg turned the well-known night spot into a wedding venue and got hitched there yesterday.

Mark held the couple's youngest child, Blake, during the ceremony while Jacaranda FM DJ, Martin Bester was the MC.

It's believed that there were 100 guests who attended the nuptials.

So, what brought on the surprise wedding? If you'll remember, last year it was reported that Mark had suffered a health scare. He  was rushed to hospital after suffering what was thought to be a heart attack, but later it was suggested it was some kind of panic attack.

The soccer player, however, insists that his house had a spell on it and he was adamant that evil spirits were haunting him. "Because of life, you seem to loose your connection with the spirit world and it took me that experience to realise that I needed that connection with God"
