Johannesburg- All eyes remain on the Union Buildings in Pretoria, as thousands of students made their way there on Friday morning, where President Jacob Zuma is expected to address protesting students.
The ongoing protest continues to grip the nation, as the mass strike action intensified this week with students from Rhodes, UCT, UKZN, UCW, and TUKS joining Wits University in solidarity against the rising costs of university fees.
The past two weeks will go down as a revolution SA's history, as the youth take a stand for their rights.
Numerous local and international celebrities have also come out strongly by adding their voice to the protests. Some celebs have even taken to the streets, and have opened up about their personal struggles with not being able to afford university fees.
Some have viewed this gesture of celebrities as 'publicity stunt' but as protests intensified on the streets, so did the noise by celebrities on social media and on various media platforms.
Scandal! actress Masasa took to social media defending herself and many of peers explaining that their gestures are in no way a 'publicity stunt.'
