Matthew Mole leaves SA to record his new album

Johannesburg - Matthew Mole has chosen the peaceful setting of the chapels in the UK as his new studio.

Matthew may have been the first SA artist to enter the iTunes chart at number 1 but he's hoping to repeat the trick with his next album.

In fact, the singer recently jetted off to the UK with his producer friend, Ash Stephenson, to record some love songs (like he does) and put some finishing touches to the album.

And, man, did they record in some interesting places, including an old chapel, and what looks like an abandoned scout hall!

Check out his studios...

This is where we recorded drums yesterday. They sound HUGE!
