Johannesburg- Veteran actor Mbongeni Ngema is rumoured to be heading to the cast of e.tv's new telenovela Gold Diggers.
This is according to TV presenter Phil Mphela, who has learnt about the exciting news from an industry source.
Gold Diggers will replace Ashes to Ashes when the season wraps in August. Even though it is expected that Ashes to Ashes will return for a second season, this has not been confirmed by the broadcaster yet.
Gold Diggers will be centered around a mining community and the challenges that miners face on a daily basis.
e.tv is expected to reveal the cast in the upcoming weeks.
