Mfundi Vundla has some 'good news'...

In more ‘is or isn’t Generations The Legacy doing well’ news, Mfundi Vundla recently told Daily Sun after an SABC quarterly review meeting that the revamped soap is not doing THAT bad. In fact, he claims he has no idea where people are getting the information about viewership being down. Er, the SABC perhaps?

According to Mfundi, five million of you have already warmed up to the new Generations, despite the fact that it hasn’t had “a stable time on air.”

“People were concerned about the figures especially after being moved to SABC2 for the Afcon, but we remained above the one million mark,” he said. “The numbers did go down but immediately shot up again when we went back to SABC1. We are now sitting on five million viewers,” he added.

In the meantime, we'll just sit here and wait for someone else to reveal that their ratings have slumped to an all-time low. Yawns!
