Generations actress Sindi Buthelezi is reportedly facing financial problems. According to the Sowetan, the actress, who plays Zinhle on the soapie, has left Johannesburg for Durban because she could no longer pay rent. She was also allegedly embroiled in a spat over money with her landlord, Vuyiseka Makapela.
A source told the site that Sindi, who is believed to be pregnant, got kicked out of her flat along with her boyfriend earlier this year. They allegedly moved to Vuyiseka's flat in Marshall Town, Johannesburg, in June and agreed to move out in December.
"She begged her for a place to stay after she was kicked out from where she lived before. She rented from Vuyiseka, but two weeks ago. Sindi demanded her R3 000 deposit from her without notice. She even threatened that she would involve the police and lawyers. She said she needed the money to go back to Durban because she could not afford to live anymore," the source said.
Vuyiseka confirmed this to the Sowetan and said she gave Sindi her deposit through her boyfriend. Sindi confirmed that she left Johannesburg and told the Sowetan that the clash over money was a misunderstanding, adding that she was doing well. She denied that she was pregnant.
