Johannesburg - It seems like former rugby legend, Joost van der Westhuizen's condition has deteriorated.
New pictures of a frail looking Joost have emerged this week.
The pictures, which were posted by Joost's estranged wife, Amor Vittone on Twitter show that Joost now has to wear a neck brace for support.
The star was first diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in 2011. The condition has stripped him of his ability to walk and talk properly.
Despite this Joost remains positive and has tried to live his life to the fullest. The former rugby star recently visited Dubai and the UK with his family to fulfil their dreams.
