Move over Fergusons, there's a new power TV couple in town

Connie and Shona Ferguson are known across the country as the power couple of TV, but they might just face some competition from married acting duo Siyabonga Radebe and Lerato Mvelase.

The couple, who are both well known for their various roles on-screen, have decided to take their place behind it, for a new sitcom they will launch in May.

According to Sowetan, the duo have been contracted by the SABC to produce a show called Him, Her and the guys through their production company, SepJan Productions

Not much is known about the show at this stage because Radebe prefers to "keep the public in suspense" but he has hinted that the show will be "a normal sitcom about young people who are in a relationship and the dynamics that come with that".

And although the couple have only confirmed they will work behind the scenes, rumours around the SABC apparently say the duo will likely appear in the show too.

Which goes to show that you can have your fingers in many different pies and still eat them.
