Overview: Annie is a young, happy foster child who's also tough enough to make her way on the streets of New York. Her parents left her when she was just a baby and promised that they'd come back for her. But they never did. It's been a hard knock life, with her mean foster mother, Hannigan.
What's it about? But Annie's life changes for the better after a rich New York mayoral candidate, Will Stacks, takes her in. Will believes that he's Annie's guardian angel, but she doesn't seem to agree.
Our fave bits: We kinda expected more from this remake. Yes, it's modern and has a fresher appeal, but the story is not that entertaining.
