Overview: Great things happen when Mr. Watts, who's a teacher, reads to his pupils from the book Great Expectations.
What's it about: One of his pupils becomes transfixed by the characters and Mr. Watts' interpretation of the story, and is transported by her imagination. The film, which is set against the backdrop of civil war in Bougainville, shows that fiction can have dangerous consequences - especially in an island at war.
Our fave bits: We couldn't ignore the movies' ability to use a book to create inspiration and there were quite a lot of moving and heartfelt moments.
