Music: Rocketeers - Something Else

In a nutshell: Joburg based folk duo oLionel and Douglas, otherwise known as the Rocketeers, have released their first album.

What’s it like: Like the sun coming through rain clouds on a road trip. The Rocketeers specialise in chilled, happy folk music and it comes through on their debut album, Something Else. The melodies are simple and not very remarkable, but they fit the sound well enough to really relax and put you in a good mood.

Fave Bit: The Race. "There's really more to life than grey"- is a sentence that sums up the Rocketeers in one sentence.

 Rating: The Rocketeers are known for making happy music and they really excel in that department with the release of their debut album, Something Else. It's brilliant to listen to when you just need a pick-me-up or even just as background music in the car.   4/5
